I think we are still limited by fabrication capacity. Even if we took every fab on the planet and had it cranking out the highest density flash, we would still not be producing an amount of storage equal to what is produced in regular hard drives.

Hard drives have lost the desktop wars, and are losing the server wars, but they aren't going away as a storage medium anytime soon, they are just too cheap.
