Jesus loving Christ, NEVER SELL YOUR GUNS!!! Unless you have to pay for something really important like surgery or a major car repair, you should never sell a gun.

I traded away a Yugo SKS that I got ripped on and had a leaky gas valve to boot. I didn't care for that gun so I don't see a problem.

I found it odd that the guy I traded it to still wanted it even after I told him about how much it sucked (he got a good deal since it is fixable I just didn't want to do it).

I'm never parting with my K31 though.

While I don't know if Webley's are on the C&R list its old and its milsurp so I guess it counts.

A local shop has a 38/200 MkIV for $295 and I was wondering if this was a good price or not for it.

This gun broker auction shows an example, but this is not the gun in question.

The gun at the shop is identical to this one, but the seems to be in great shape from my brief inspection of it.

I don't mind the fact that 38/200 doesn't exist anymore and that 38 s&w cost (38/200 is essentially the same round and both can be safely fired in it) an arm and a leg. I just sort of want a Webley.

Is that the same as the .38/200?

.38 s&w is not interchangeable with .38spcl and .38 s&w seems to run about 30 bucks per 50 based on the few online places that seem to sell it.

Apparently the brits liked to do things their own way and upped the bullet weight on a .38 s&w and then called it .38/200.

Doing some more research it appears the gun I was looking at is actually an Enfield Mk2#1 tanker variant, DA only. Still a good deal or not?

I guess 30 bucks isn't terrible. I mean this wouldn't be a plinking gun by any means of the word, but at least I'd be able to shoot it every once in a while.

Course I don't have the money to get one now anyways, I was just curious. Does anyone out there own one?

At least one guy around here (Miso Beno?) has one in the larger .455 caliber.
