Killer Instinct had fatalities in it, but it was tame enough to get a Teen rating.

Anyway, here is a cut-up version of the Gametrailers TV look at the game. Looks like Shang Tsung is in the game too. Plus Flash has the anti-Luthor/Brainiac punch from JLU.

That game had lots of blood but the fatalities weren't that gory, I mean they didn't had missing limbs and stuff like that. I would guess Scorpion will have the skull flame fatality, Sub-Zero the one where he freezes you and breaks you and so on.

Bendis talking about the dead Marvel MMO

Bendis posted:

CMix: It's no secret that you're an avid gamer. Is there any comic character or title that you'd still like to see in a videogame that hasn't popped up yet?

BB: Well, you're talking to one of the executive producers of the ill-fated Marvel MMO that went away. I have my laptop here, and on it I have the "X-Mansion" level fully completed that only I and five other people have access to play. It's gorgeous and fantastic and no one will ever see it. So I feel bad, because I think that MMO was a phenomenal idea that was extremely well executed and it went away because some guy at Microsoft who we'll never know pulled the plug on it before it even got underway.

But adding to that, I think that they should take each of these Marvel events and turn them into a videogame franchise. "Civil War," which will be part of the next Ultimate Alliance, "House of M," "Secret Wars"...

CMix: "Secret Invasion?"

BB: "Secret Invasion." Absolutely.

Actually, I really like that idea from Bendis. Imagine if Ultimate Alliance 2 had DLC where you could get new levels or characters based on current events in the Marvel Universe. Like a World War Hulk pack that'd have a few levels set in New York with the Hulk as an endboss and so on. Every few months, you'd dish up $10-20 and get to play through Marvel's current big event. They could update costumes and powers for existing heroes and add entirely new characters as they're developed by the comics creators. That'd be pretty cool.

Yeah, that'd be great. Unfortunately, this is Activision and they can't even do DLC right with their bread and butter game (Guitar Hero).

It does look cool, though the MK series has been going downhill for awhile now. The last one (Armageddon I think?) was trash. I'm hoping this one will redeem the series. I'm a big fan of super hero fighting games, though nothing tops Marvel vs Capcom.

So, according to all the info we have thus far, Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2's roster includes the following:

- Captain America
- Iron Man
- Thor
- Hulk
- Mr. Fantastic
- Invisible Woman
- Human Torch
- Thing
- Spider-Man
- Wolverine
- Storm
- Daredevil
- Luke Cage
- Venom
- Green Goblin

I think every character should get a zombie costume variant.
