I am glad to see that the "hotel block" deals of yesteryear have been eliminated, since it always just seemed like a sure-fire way for a genuinely giving and awesome person to end up owing thousands of dollars to some big hotel jerk. Now, the question is, just how hot is it in Las Vegas in the beginning of August? I hear it can get as warm as 50 degrees Fahrenheit, and that is far too hot for my body made entirely of ice cream. Edit: Glad to hear that Tension can finally, after nearly a half-year of waiting, have GoonCon close to home for a change.

I figured it would be much like GoonCon 2005, except with less likelihood of the city being destroyed by a hurricane two weeks later.
