I enjoy bad twists of fate just as good as happy endings. I think you should continue the story with her in the dystopic future with a warped personality trying to cope. Not sure where it would lead her, as in what great conflict there would be except maybe revenge... run with it, start a new thread as part 2 that is, if you are up for it and not bored.

Glad it was finished, but that ending sucked. Not because it was tragic, but because it was just to sudden. An extra update, or this one being longer, to build up to it would have made it work better. This was an awesome thread. YAY, Thallium!

I was a somewhat disappointed with the Choose your own Adventure clown-monster Dropsy thread from a few months ago. It was all in good fun, of course, it even got goldmine'd. But I didn't like the deux ex machina Savior sent from the heavens ending. Okay he wasn't really sent from the heavens, but I'd have much preferred to see Dropsy be self-sufficent in his victory. The prim-and-proper clown just kind of came out of nowhere. I don't like that. Evidently it is, in fact, possible to choose enough "Wrong" answers in this kind of thread to result in a "Game over."

Wait, um did that count? Because I had my finger on the page before we dedicated to the final out come. Either way, Thallium, you have created an incredibly amazing story set in a magical world. You would do yourself a great injustice by not expanding on the story, characters, or whatever else you managed to create. Thanks a million for this awesome thread.

Thanks so much for this, Thallium. This thread was/is loving incredible. If too tedious to show us other plotlines, it'd be really really cool if you could simply tell us what the other outcomes would have been or a general summation of the critical options? Utter brilliance though, woman. I checked SA more than I usually do to follow this. Bravo.

So, uh, what happened to Dr. Stratford? Was he purposely helping Meadowfields the entire time? Did Meadowfields jack him up after we syringed him? He never had a (fully?) roboticized brain, so Protobot shouldn't've been able to take hold of him.. e: Oh, wait, we didn't have one either, yet Protobot got us from just that arm. Maybe he had a robotic toenail or something.

Well this was a awesome ending to a great thread. I applaud you Thallium. On a side note: Has anyone been collecting the pictures and captions and willing to share in a zip file or something? Edit: Also... did we ever get our officially sanctioned Chainsaw Arm?
