I don't think you can safely assume it's suppressed just because there's a huge shroud around the barrel that could serve no other reasonable purpose. I mean, there's also one of those around the scope.

You'd have figured with the spacegun aesthetic they'd have gone with something more high-tech than woodland camo.

oddspelling posted:Oh gently caress, my eyessss! This has actually been explained to me a few times. Apparently transferable m1919s, while expensive, are not crazy-town expensive (well, by transferable MG standards). Because of this they are really popular with the people who want to own a SAW SO loving BAD but can't afford one of the very, very few non-dealer samples out there. So they get a m1919 and tart it up to look kind of like a SAW.

Some info on that gun from Guisan over on Swiss Rifles(as always, they are too nice about such things): Guisan posted:The rifle was made some 15 years ago and the reason for the bullpup design was because of the integrated suppressor, a standard K31 with a suppressor gets too long and has too much weight near the muzzle putting it out of balance, the compact bullpup is more easy to handle. ![]() ![]()

Did the guy give his impetus for doing this? Also, I think the term you want there is 'integrally suppressed' rather than 'internally suppressed'.
