Ok? So were these guys actually door kickers or a random photo of tactical guys strolling about? Like I said, 4x doesn't make sense for shooting inside.

What Sky Shark is getting at is that those dudes aren't necessarily part of an entry team and could, very likely, serve in a role where it makes some semblance of sense for an ACOG on an MP5/

El Jorge posted:What Sky Shark is getting at is that those dudes aren't necessarily part of an entry team and could, very likely, serve in a role where it makes some semblance of sense for an ACOG on an MP5/ I think the one factor we're over-looking is that the MP5 is a SD model, while their SIG rifles lack suppressors. Assuming the engagement ranges are equal, I can imagine that it might be an option thing: Go loud, use the SG. Go quietly, use the MP5SD.

I can see an SD with an ACOG being used for dog suppression from down the block, or even as a close range (less than 100 yard) sniping solution. They're certainly accurate enough, and 9mm does an okay job killing people.

You can clearly see the crossbolt below the receiver ring (and the holes for the rather specific sized spanner that they used to install it) and if you look REALLY closely at the butt you can see what's either the takedown disc or where he removed the takedown disc and plugged it. I'm guessing that coating is some kind of rubber something or other, like truckbed liner or something.
