I dunno, that bolt in the carrying handle makes it seem unlikely. Or maybe they're using it for a sight post, it's not like you can have too many aiming strategies on one gun

Depends on how it was made. I've seen carry handle mounts that were see-through and ones that weren't.

Gtab posted:No, that rail is bolted through the handle. They (the Chinese) make cheapo aluminum ones that have a port you can see through to use the irons. Given he's using a lovely 45$ SLR red dot I dont think it's a stretch. The dot is in a dumb place, though. I guess he's trying to substitute for night sights I guess? I cant see how this wouldn't obscure your target at night but I guess he must try and use it like an occluded eye scope maybe?? Or maybe he's a moron. Or both. That archangel kit is a neat concept but they're made out of really lovely plastic and there's no metal frame in them. They pale in comparison to the rest of the poo poo pro arms puts out: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FLvkRJLf-tA cuntrageous fucked around with this message at Jun 9, 2012 around 15:35 |

Gtab posted:No, that rail is bolted through the handle. I've seen mounts like that where the bolt has a slot cut in it to see through. You have to time the slot correctly. It's not the most ideal setup, but then I doubt whoever built that gun really cared.

At first glance I was trying to figure out why it had two forward grips, then I realized that the front attachment was a bayonet. My eyes originally saw the blade as being part of the deck.
