My local BBS also had a hangman game which got weird. If you solved the word, you got to pick the next word and other people would try to solve it, and whoever won got to pick the next word, etc. There was one guy who, whenever he solved someone else's word, would always pick "sepulchral" as the new word. I don't think he understood how the game worked.


I had a Volksmodem 12 on my C64.
