This I found out kind of unintentionally in All Points Bulletin and it isn't something you can pull off entirely intentionally. Some background for people who aren't familiar with the game, its basically a pvp only GTA multiplayer game with 2 factions. You can be a criminal or an enforcer. Usually you play in teams of 4v4 and the game will assign you opposition based on your threat level and there are four threat levels green, bronze, silver, gold with subdivisions inside those and they are all calculated on a win loss ratio. The instances are limited to 100 players so the game's choice of opposition for you is kind of limited so it might set four bronze players against 1 gold etc. A lot of the gold players are either hilariously arrogant or seriously autistic about their win loss ratio. The player base is pretty horrible as a whole but the gold players are often the worst and either hate losing or despise playing with or against people beneath them. And you can call for backup. So if its you against some green players you can call back up and there is a reasonable chance you will end up with gold backup. There is a fairly good chance they will complain about being up against those puny fuckers. So you start losing on purpose. This will gently caress up their win loss ratio heavily as the ratio is weighted with the opposition you are up against. They can't quit or it will also gently caress up the win loss ratio but they can scream like a petulant child on mic for you to kick them or do better. It is possible to just survive each segment of the mission and force them to hang out for about 20 minutes. The best thing is ViP mode where one player has a set amount of lives and you have to prevent the other team from killing them for x minutes. You don't even have to be obvious, just be clumsy with grenades. Anyway in heroes of newerth I've had lots of people vote to kick me, hasn't worked yet but no foaming at the mouth rage. It doesn't seem to matter if I just sit in spawn or allow myself to be killed over and over.

Just going to share a brief chatlog from APB because I love being cursed at in foreign tongues. The start of this took place more or less at the end of the game, which was quite difficult because I was attacking and he was on defence. Anyway the last stage was a capture point like King of the Hill in TF2 so his advantage of always defending ran out and then he got kind of discouraged when I raped him straight out of spawn a few times. Near the end when he starts accusing me of being a hacker is another game straight after where I got to defend. He got very discouraged and started team killing to make it go faster. Correct me if I'm wrong but doesn't it take away enemy kills and keeps them stuck with lovely guns? Isn't that a totally legit tactic in a team game if you cause your team to gain monster guns way before the enemy and you keep the enemy score depressed?

Don't know if you guys are aware of twitchtv but basically its a site where people livestream games they are playing. Some of the games are pvp and some of the people who play have undeserved enormous egos. And then they put themselves on cam as well. You can probably guess where this is going. Anyhow this is footage of a clown called "cavegrafitti" who is amazing at APB in his own mind. In reality he uses some macros and cheap tricks and when he moved to another server some people made new characters to gently caress with him some more and they made this video. The latter is possible because the map they are on is the size of the map in gta 3 and more detailed. Doing that is only for bad players who can't win fairly. He's dressed like that because you can dress however you want in apb if you can make the costume. His costume is poo poo though Some people can do a lot better with the designer  As for the people he's playing against, their characters are low level and his is high because he's been there a while. Level doesn't mean much in apb and they aren't abusing anything. They are just much much better than him and as we all know if someone is better at you at a game they must be cheating. The game is just so bad otherwise. APB is actually really good if brutally hard on new players. I think that's why people don't like it, that or they play in a pick up group against teams on a mumble which is more less the same as griefing yourself. It also generates anger like no other game. I was playing yesterday and 3 people from 3 different matches got incredibly angry at me in district chat and they ended up talking to each other and agreeing I was a "total stinkyhole".
