I honda polished the bike and pulled out the slr for some proper pics.    The contrast was a lot better before I uploaded them, they're a bit darker here but

 drat. I got my bike with the original stock tires (none too good even when brand new) still on it. They were from 03 and they were dry rotted as all hell, and there was a huuuuge crack in the sidewall directly under the DOT date on the front one. The PO was still riding it in the twisties. "Don't lean over too far and you'll be fine!" he said.

I volunteer at a bicycle co-op. We have kids buy a new tube+tire, and come back like three days later with it worn through the cords and the tube popped in like three places. It's pretty awesome.

Yeah, especially up on the hills. I never took the ninja up grizzly peak because there were enormous 4" deep potholes all over that road. Partially the earthquakes, partially because they let those roads go like 10 years before resurfacing. All the parts of PCH I've been on have been buttery smooth though!
