I don't know what your problem is, but I usually shoot rifle by myself on private property and handguns at an indoor range. There is nothing anymore unsafe about these than regular ear protection.

If you want an underfolding stock, then all you have to do is drill out the hole in the receiver. dracos have the underfolding trunnion from the factory. otherwise, i believe its as simple as cutting out the back, removing the old trunnion and installing a new one.

if you wanted an ace stock or something similar id imagine you could use one of the tromix backplates in lieu of whats already there

If I did it I would go for an underfolder so that is good news. I guess I will start looking for a good draco when my AR is finished.

For less than $100 for a new stock you're looking at around $600 for a full setup with a new barrel. AIM used to have redone 1903a3 rifles for around $750 so if you're willing to do the legwork for the stock it seems like you're really coming out ahead.

I kind of like the green stocked ones and would probably have bought one if I had the money.

Because you are storing the gun between two sponges. They are never really dry when you put the gun in. However those gun socks are awesome.

No its cool. May I recommend looking at Mueller if you must be looking at low end scopes. I have one on my .308 and it is ok as long as you are not expecting a ton. I have also heard good things about the Vortex Viper line.

I may get this as a stand in on my AR.
