For any Green Bay area goons... Fleet Farm on the east side got in a new batch of ammo cans, $11.99 for .50 and $6.99 for .30. Not that great a price, BUT they marked down the last batch of paint-peeled and rusted ones. I think those were $6.99 for the .50s, but I didn't look that close. They also have a shitload of CCI Blazer aluminum case .45acp for $15.99 a box. Yeah, it's CCI, but it's in stock and 32 cents a round. My two RIAs eat it happily, so it's good for me. Oh yeah, east side WalMart has Federal 9mm for $9.47 a box, with about 10 boxes on the shelf. They're renovating that location, so it's also out in the open, no need to track someone down to open the case.

Local Fleet Farm(Green Bay, WI) has .50 and .30 cal cans, $6-$12 depending on size and condition. The last batch were in excellent shape, the previous were basically rust and flaking paint. They actually have a pretty nice sized milsurp section in their stores. They even have .45acp in stock, about the only place local I can find any. It's also where you buy pruning shears for your giant pot farm, link.

Stopped at my local Wal Mart and saw something I haven't seen in two years, the ammo shelves were fully stocked. Federal 9mm at $9.47/50 and .45acp at $15.95/50. Bought a box each, we'll see how long before they're out again.

If you have a Mills Fleet Farm nearby, there seems to be a couple good deals until Saturday on some .22 rifles Henry lever action for $239.99(Buds is $251) Mossberg 702 Plinker for $124.99(Buds is $147) And I think they had 10/22s for $209.95 the last time I was at the one near me(east side Green Bay, WI).

Maverick 88 Security - $189.99 Savage 64F - $124.99 They're also listing Yugo SKSs in their flier, but not much of a deal at $309.99. A few weeks back they had WASRs listed, too. Where can I get a decent price on .32acp? Local Walmart wants $20 for a box of 50, which is too damned high. AIM has Fiocchi for $11 a box, which seems to be about the best I can find. New purchase coming in, need to start stocking up for the Yoopershoot.

Not a "great" deal, but the east-side Green Bay, WI Fleet Farm has a fresh load of .50 and .30 cal ammo cans again. And this load isn't all rusted to poo poo like the last ones. If you live near a Fleet Farm and need any, might be worth stopping by. Oh, this one also has a bunch of UK Royal Mail fleece jackets in the milsurp section. So if you want to look like a British mailman, they can help.

Closest to me was sold out, it was a Saturday special and all dozen they had were gone by noon on Saturday. J&G and Wideners have them at the same price, but you have to pay shipping.

East Side Green Bay, WI, Fleet Farm just got in another load of Wolf 9mm. Still $7.99/50 until Saturday. I bought what they had on the shelf today, but there's plenty more in the back. Also, they now sell handguns!!!! Prices aren't amazing, but they're better than Gander Mountain and generally within a few bucks of Buds if I factor shipping and FFL fees. All the basics in the case; Glocks, Rugers, a couple XDs, and even a few Berettas. Kind of wondering if they'll have deals on those like they seem to on the long guns.

Probably not going to be any deals, but this Saturday there's a farm auction in Coleman, WI with some interesting items. - US Property marked 1911, not an A1 - Colt 1903 - CZ52 - M1 Carbine - 20+ different Winchester shotguns and rifles - MAC 10 Not sure if I'm going to get up early and drive an hour by myself, though I'd like to see what the 1911 and 1903 are like.

It's listed in the ad as "1911 Colt US Property from WW 1" so I would think it's probably not a transitional. Nice thing, I just got a raise today, retroactive to May 2nd. It's not a big raise, but I take it as a sign I should spend a little money. Still trying to find someone to go along with me.

No huge deals, but I stopped at Fleet Farm today and they are becoming quite the gun store. Along with handguns, they now have a large section of Magpul stuff. ASAPs, BADs, AFGs, P-Mags out the yingyang, even ACS and CTR stocks. Also UTG and Tapco stuff if you hate your guns. They also have a couple Adams Arms piston AR uppers in 5.56x45 and 5.45x39. If I'm remembering correctly, they have them cheaper than Midway's dealer price. Oh, and they are the first local place I've seen non-surplus 5.45x39 on the shelf. Wolf in the camo box, $6.39/30.

For what used to be a farm supply chain, they are really competitive on firearms, ammo, and accessories compared to online sources and absolutely amazing compared to local brick-n-mortar stores.
