For people who do have viewed the footage, is it worth seeing?

I mean, it really is just take after take of the actors doing the same scenes from different angles. You maybe hear some off camera direction and see some slight improvisation, but the most interesting part is just seeing the slight variations, watching all the directions the scene could have gone, then watching the finished cut. It would probably be pretty boring for someone not interested in how things are shot and edited.

Sweatin' to the oldies!

I certainly do love me some Arrested Development and like many of you, I'm tempted to rewatch it again.

Though, I did this a few times at work. I work as a paramedic and I work with some dumbshit EMTs at times. One occasion I had a patient who was terminally ill, was acutely in bad shape, etc. So after the call I mentioned "Wow, that patient had a bad case of TBA" ...of course referencing the pledge drive the Bluth family had in season 3 and they couldn't think of a disease to do, so "To Be Announced" was it I believe. But anyways, they would usually ask what it is, and I would make up some ridciulous yet believable stuff about it and they would believe me!

These people were probably lost and confused, but I'd get a little laugh out of it. Sadly no one called me on it yet.

It's a long story

I was showing a few episodes to a Japanese friend the other day. It was only when she asked me the meaning of "Development" that I realized that there's like 3 different puns in the title of the show.

They actually aired the show in Japan, funnily enough. Subbed, though, not dubbed. I can't imagine it was very easy to understand...

Rewatching the series for like, the 6th time, yet again have I noticed new things.

The pictures used in the opening of Scandalmakers are the same pictures used in the opening of the show (including a Mr. Bananagrabber).

I'm sure it's been mentioned a million times already, but in Gob's attack video on Steve Holt, one of the flash frames is Mr. Bananagrabber. I think it's on screen for about three frames or so.

It took me about ten episodes to realize the "next time on Arrested Developments" weren't real but rather continuations of the jokes from the episode.

I blame the first episode which I believe did show some clips from the next one.

As far as I can remember the only clip from the pilot that actually happened in the next episode was the "You're doing time!" "I'm having the time of my life" exchange, where they still didn't actually do a proper next time as the prison inmate George than greets is completely different.

Which other rubes are riding hot shot sugar?

I was just thinking about what films or shows AD cast members have been in that have made references or have strange similarities to Arrested Development.

Juno with 'pop pop'.

Also Hancock is weirdly similar too (from IMDB)
Jason Bateman plays a man who becomes romantically involved with Charlize Theron's character (who isn't who he thinks she is), after his wife dies, leaving him with a son. Many scenes are set inside a prison and a key character loses a hand and replaces it with a hook device.

I'm sure I've seen others-- I just can't remember where.
