There are two things in this show that I didn't get:

1) Michael is talking to Lindsay about Maggie's baby and he says "it's probably some loser Simpsons writer's" and Lindsay says "first of all, not all Simpsons writers are losers"

2) When Lucille 2 is in the club and Tobias starts singing she says "everybody thinks that Frank Sinatra..."

I haven't seen the show in a while so the dialogue is probably wrong but it gets the general point across. What do they mean here?

One of my favorites of the many absolutely hilarious exchanges, which I was surprised not to see quoted in this thread, was

Lindsay: We’re super rich again! And, I’m going to buy a car. The Volvo. (Hands Michael a paper)
Michael: Lindsay, you’re not going to start spending money. And that's not a volvo
Lindsay: Oh, that's from sitting on the copier. (Switches papers)
[...]
Lindsay: I can't believe he left me! And this! (Points to paper in Michael's hand)
Michael: That's the car.
Lindsay: Oh! (Switches papers) This!
Michael: Glad we didn't spring for the color copier.
[...]
Michael: Maybe we should get the car.
Lindsay: I don't know. It's so... boxy.

The first two gags had me laughing but at that almost throwaway line at the end, I lost it.
