It's free, has features closer to Photoshop than MSPaint, and has an option to make JPEGs not look like poo poo (when you save the image, set the quality slider to 100 and viola, good looking JPEGs). I posted my desktop at home a few days ago, but I've since moved into my dorm room so here's this desktop: There is a huge mass of wires going everywhere behind the right monitor and 360, but it's hidden so I can convince myself I'm not living like poo poo. Yeah, that's Raphael on a skateboard on top of my Lian Li.
