So did they have to destroy multiple DBSs to do this?
3. In one afternoon of filming. I got it backwards though - they started with a ramp and had to go with a cannon.

quote:

"And it was more difficult than it sounds because the Aston is built so well that it wouldn't turn over from a ramp. We had to put a nitrogen air cannon in the car to make it flip and the director, Martin Campbell, wanted the shot done in one take."

It actually took two takes being that the DBS is so incredibly stable, like Powell said.

"Gary Powell decided to raise the ramp to just under two feet in the end," said Kirley about the sequence. "I came in at the 75, 80 miles an hour speed, hit it with the two left hand side wheels, anticipating it to roll very easily. But the car just literally took off in the air, leveled pretty much, and landed on all four wheels. Completely. No chance of rolling whatsoever because of the stability of the car."

Because I fail at finding/caching pictures of the froot truck, I submit this for being very AI. We've since had our Sigtrap replaced under warranty, but occasionally bits of trim still work their way free. The below transpired before we lemon law'd Sigtrap.

I doubt it's actually injected, it's just made to look that way. The pipes are probably just fuel feeds to carb jets mounting in the intakes.

It wasn't specifically mentioned by so much detail, so a search like that might not find the other times its been up, but I know I've seen it several times on this site. If it hasn't been in this thread yet I apologise, I got my firing order crossed and yes it is very very cool.

I've been doing some catchup on single player. Level 37 or so at this point, and I'm still plowing through the factory spec races. I haven't really "built" anything in awhile, but it would be fun to get back into the groove of things. I think I am going to get a 24" HD monitor and a wheel that I can mount on my desk so I'm not gimping on the hand controller... (Read as maybe this weekend)
