Looking for a flash game. It was hosted on Newgrounds.com It was set in during the time of cowboys. Or at least thats what the setting seemed like. It might have been post apocalyptic. I remember there were some guys that used katanas and melee weapons and such. It was a turn based game and you moved your guys around the over map by pointing in a direction and they would head that way. I remember you had to use the map over and over to get the coordinates of what direction you needed to go. I remember food and water being a big deal and you could fill up any water bottles you had in each city that had a fountain. You could get gas for various vehicles and such. Also the maker of the flash had a download link also posted when they submitted the flash. So that was on the description they posted for the game. I also remember you being able to hire people onto your team to help you.

Spacemoth posted:In 2005 there was a thread with a bunch of goons remixing Nine Inch Nails's "The Hand That Feeds" and posting them to Tindeck to share. I've checked Tindeck and Google for these remixes but I can't find any of them. There was one remix in particular that was mostly breath sounds and screams by Trent laid back to back. I believe it was called "loltrentlol.mp3" and I think the goon that did it was SydBarrett. I'd really like to have it again. Any takers? Closest thing I found was on these forums referencing that thread: http://forums.thetechnodrome.com/showthread.php?t=12357 This was the link they posted but it gives me nothing: http://tindeck.com/audio/my?loc=4bdnl-loltrentlol.mp3 Hope that brings you closer!

A couple of years ago there was this guy on youtube... Swedish i think, that used to make these insane videos where he was filming random objekts and yelling at them, hitting them and so on. It seemed to be made by someone completely insane, but it was fairly popular for some time...

I remember some webcomic strip from the mid-2000s; Some astronauts (in space suits) were driving people before them with whips for their new demon/alien overlord, who was bright red, the only thing on color. Any bells?

I can remember he boiled stuff as well. I dont remember much about it, because the videos did not make sense, but it was highly entertaining.

There was once an incredibly funny and slightly sarcastic post or a story SOMEWHERE I read, though I'm not sure if it was on SA that I saw it, which was basically extrapolating from some "what if" someone once posed. All I remember of it is that in the end Zoroastrianism became the dominant world religion instead of Christianity, with America being majority Zoroastrian and the Cult of Isis surviving to the modern day, and the author ends his post with something like "All hail Ahura Mazda".

A few months back, someone posted an animation on here that I found. It was the epic adventure of two guys who grabbed the same map, tore it in half, and so needed one another to continue on their adventure. As their journey continues, they become heroes and become super powerful, until at the end, they don't need the map's treasure and pass the map on to two new guys. Anyone know what this is?

I've been looking for what I can best describe as "The Wheel of Time Abridged". Someone on a forum posted what amounted to an abridged parody of the Wheel of Time (which nevertheless managed to hit most of the important plot points) but all the links I can find to it are dead now. I remember one part where Moiraine is saying "We'll stop here. Do not touch anything! Do not go into Shadar Logoth!" followed by Mat saying "Hey guys, let's all go into Shadar Logoth and touch things!" It was silly and dumb but it beats rereading the series, can anyone find it?

Anyone have a link to that guy who posted a really embarrassingly bad youtube of himself and some friends playing a terrible (metal?) song that contained the lyrics "this random access memory of you"? Another memorable feature was that the drummer was playing on an electronic drum kit, not a real drum set. Surely this still exists somewhere, but I think I am remembering the lyrics slightly wrong so I can't seem to find it on google. Edit: \/\/ That is exactly it but it is nowhere near as bad as I remembered. That's disappointing! Corla Plankun fucked around with this message at May 14, 2013 around 14:38 |

I remember there was this one freeware online X-Men RPG/tactical-type game that sort of felt like Pokemon with mutants, featuring some pretty rad characters like Xorn and Cassandra Nova I think. I really can't remember much more other than that characters had different stats in some areas like Strength or Intelligence than others. I'm also remembering it being kind of eerie somehow. Anyone know what I'm talking about? It's driving me crazy, and it's only been three or four years since I played it.

It was of a blue and yellow dragon squatting. I guess the guy thought it looked intimidating, but it came off instead as looking like a constipated dragon. Looked like it was tattooed on a limb, but whether arm or leg I don't remember. If someone can provide context as well, I'd be extra grateful. Sounds like viletat.jpg. There have been numerous threads about it, many ended up in the comedy gas chamber, e.g. 1, 2 The tattoo was on Vile Rat - Goonfleet's chief diplomat. He shared the pic with Goonfleet's directors, one of them leaked it, there was much drama at the time. Vile Rat was eventually killed by a mob of religious fanatics, for reasons unrelated to the tattoo.
