Years and years ago I had this little game that opened up in a little DOS window. ALl it was was little chickens running around on the ground and you dropped cannonballs on top of them and they exploded. It was all very pixel looking type, viewed from the side. Completely 2d.
It was a stupid, completely one dimensional game but I'd blow up little chickens for 15 minutes. It was engrossing.
