Played some RE5 tonight. It's ok, coop is a nice addition. I definitely need a bigger inventory, not enough room for my pistol, smg, rifle +ammo and heals

But yeah, coop is a lot of fun. Still wish I could move while aiming :/

I see they have Red Orchestra for $5 right now, is there still a community going around it and is it even remotely newbie friendly. I have read gripes that it is a fairly insular group, but the game looks awesome and I'd like to give it a shot if it's worth it.

There are a lot of subtle troll abilities available in RO. Game is fun as hell though.

L4D needs melee weapons

maybe like disposable ones like in Dead Rising

like you could find a chainsaw and it'd have limited fuel

Of course this would be option when making a game and also it'd have to be play tested extensively. The infected would have to get something too like they could eat corpses planted about for health.

I've never really extensively played the original ghost recon games, so I'm getting the original plus the two expansions. Do people still play this online? Will I enjoy the singleplayer even if there isn't online?

Is it that good? I haven't been able to find a good rewview of it, which makes me rather uneasy buying it. I"ve gotten pretty damned burned on my last few WW2 games.

People still do play online, but it's nothing exciting. If you're interested, I will play coop with you. Single Player is still plenty enjoyable, except for those escort missions, those things really suck.

I love it, myself. It's a little rough around the edges and has some of the worst voice acting ever, but hey, that's Russian games for you.

There's a demo here. The demo is pretty short and not that exciting(the demo mission has like a 1/10th the enemies as even the second mission of the Russian campaign), but it gives you an idea of the general gameplay.

Seems like a pretty nice game. Is it available in standard retail or Steam? Finding 1C's stuff outside of Russia seems pretty difficult.
