I find most any Jason Statham awesome. I just thought crank 2 had the same problem as the expendables, trying to build an entire film around the elements that made the other films awesome but just somehow losing the charm.

You mean Chuck "This movie has to be PG or I'm not going to be in it because curse words make baby jesus cry" Norris? It would be hilarious, but I'll be very surprised if he doesn't have a big part and is actually made to look like a tough guy.

So, what's the consensus on the fastest way to level in Diablo 3 anyways? I'm thinking of leveling a Barbarian or a Wizard. I already have a Witch Doctor that's nearly 60, but she isn't as awesome as I'd hoped she'd be. I pretty much can't advance into Act 2 with my Monk, either.

I got my hopes up with how awesome the fourth Rambo was.

That was the kind of film the expandables should have been. Crummy plot, godawful acting, and people exploding when hit with bullets.

Just make sure you get the unofficial bug-fixes. It's not the greatest of console ports, and on some computers runs at about 125-150% speed. I think this is the biggest one, here: http://idolninja.com/sr2.php

I just interrogated a guy in Chaos Theory about shutting off some fans. Sam's joking about being Harry Tuttle from Brazil and the guard is like "Don't forget to fill out your 26-7b/6" haha! In the level before it, you slide down some wires to get off a roof and I instantly thought of De Niro. Seeing this little easter egg just made my day, this game's cool! It's my first Splinter Cell game, I wasn't expecting Sam Fisher to provide so much comic relief

Capn Beeb posted:Chaos Theory is the best one of the series. So goood. Yeah, SC 1 and 2 were both more about trial and error with a right way to do things while the later games turn into StealthCod. I heard Splinter Cell 4 for the xbox was almost as good, but the 360 version wasn't that impressive. I'd recommend it for $10 if you need to scratch that itch, but Chaos Theory is the point where you can complete missions almost any way you want, the writing hits a perfect note and the graphics are actually good enough to seem modern.

A friend and I played the poo poo out of the coop on Chaos Theory. We played on every difficulty with every restriction and loadout we could do on every level, multiple times. Setting up different ways of taking out the AI together while moving through the level in different ways was so much fun and so satisfying. I think it's the definitive coop game for me, and I guess it was really one of those lightening in a bottle things.

I have an Asus motherboard that is randomly rebooting on me. I have swapped out everything else including processor, the problem will not go away. Yesterday was so bad I couldnt even shop for a motherboard to replace it. Which is good I guess because I can't afford one in the slightest. If anyone has an AM2 board (I'm using X2 4200 proc) with a PCIe slot for trade - I have VG related things I can swap.

A friend of mine asked me a few days ago "So how was Civ 5?" I thought to myself, "Did I ever buy Civ 5? I know I've never played it." After checking my Steam library later that night, I found that I had indeed purchased it during a sale months ago and never gotten around to installing it. I think I can safely hold off on the expansion.

Civ V was pretty decent in my book, but it certainly had some shortcomings compared to the final version Civ IV. A lot of the ways they changed it up were controversial to begin with, and it certainly had some flaws. Reading over the release notes for the expansion it looks like they've fixed up a LOT of the issues that I had with it, and added some stuff that just looks neat. Again, this is coming from someone with 100+ hours logged on normal Civ V, so the vanilla game isn't something I'm going to recommend you to actively avoid, but it just looks like the expansion is going to finally make it a really good game, and not just a decent game.
