The PC version of Max Payne got pushed back by 3 days to June 1st. I'm not sure what that means.

New Ghost Recon still good. If you want to do missions full stealth it's kind of a neat combo of Splinter Cell Conviction and squad commands / shooting. I just used a UAV to spot and mark targets and my squad to sync kill groups, ending up with us stealth killing an entire compound full of enemies, was pretty sweet. also the characters sit around and argue about 6.7 liter truck engines and/or do a bad job singing to "I Shot The Sheriff." It has to have gone gold by now, so it's probably a manufacturing or distribution error. There's an outside chance that they're prepping an essential day 1 patch of some kind, but given Rockstar's size, I find it unlikely that they'd have let any extreme importance bugs run this late into development, and besides we know there's a working version (although probably with fewer visual features) already in existence. edit: Cyrano4747 posted:A working version that only has to work on one set of known hardware. Fair enough, although by far the biggest hurdle is the video card (I think the 360 stores data big-endian, but the code may be blind to that and it nevertheless would have been addressed during basic engine building), as you addressed. Come to think of it, I think AMD just released v12.something a day or two ago. Male Man fucked around with this message at May 24, 2012 around 17:54 |

A working version that only has to work on one set of known hardware. Did any of the big video card companies drop a driver update recently? I could see there being some update to something that they figure will cause a lot of issues and holding onto it for a couple days to get a patch released on day 1.

The playstyle in Bad Company 2 was so thoroughly enjoyable. Rolling with a squad of three buddies and getting darts in any helicopters or tanks as soon as they showed up was amazing. We'd usually only have one engineer up at any point, but four people popping tracers and Carl G riding shotgun it never really mattered. We actually once got some kid on the other team so mad he sent the entire squad an angry message telling us to get a life and calling us try hards. I also miss how many of the buildings were collapsible. Especially the ones with MCOMs in them. Whether it was sneaking around the outside of a building and C4ing the walls, or shelling it from a ridge in tanks and rocket launchers, it just always felt amazing.

I've told this story before in here, but I legit got a ~get on my level~ guy on 360 in BF3 last year. The guy got 3 kills in 5 rounds. He'd grab a helo or a jet, fly out to some random hill as far away from a useful place as possible, and plop down his mobile spawn. He was going for longest headshots. When I sent him a message telling him to stop being so useless, he told me to get on his level and to step up my longest headshot range. Apparently getting in the top 3 each round wasn't good enough for him.

It's one of the better games that simulates the value of supply lines. You just can't set up a forward base like traditional RTSs and somehow magic resources into a universally accessible pool. If you don't escort your transports, your society will grind to a literal halt and you can backslide from an endgame powerhouse to rabble.

I'm only doing SP to get stars right now. Also I looked through the PACT unlocks and the final T62 (I think it's T62) with the ATGM seems way better than anything in the NATO pack and it's only 100 points. Also the Abrams is rather disappointing on paper. It seems like (for NATO at least) the best stuff is German tanks and US infantry. Everything else seems more or less interchangeable.

Leopard 2s are fast with great frontal armor and fantastic gun damage but lack side armor.
