Hustlin Floh posted:I'm sure most of you are aware, but for those who aren't Battlefield Heroes is finally out. You can get it for free at http://www.battlefieldheroes.com/ don't bother playing this unless you like paying real money to buy ingame items for 30 days Unless they changed it from the closed beta (which didn't wipe characters) this is how you get better guns.

I tried playing again recently and basically went "What the gently caress is this capture the flag bullshit." The new base capturing system is so confusing.

Multi-player is fun if you can ignore the horrible lag in every single game. Single player was fun except for the ridiculous difficulty and nonsensical storyline. Also it was short. MW1 had a much better single-player. edit: how do I add a clan tag? Aleksei Vasiliev fucked around with this message at Nov 12, 2009 around 07:31 |

eine dose socken posted:It's a situation that is totally unique to the PC gaming world - can you even imagine buying a car or something else that fails all the time and needs to be updated several times by the producer? 1) Clutch fails within 10,000 miles, costs $4,000 to replace, not a warrantied part 2) Clutch must be replaced well before that, since it will start failing to stay in the right gear 3) Accelerator once got stuck down 4) Engine occasionally turns off while driving 5) Gas cap locks shut and cannot be opened without using an emergency release in trunk (which once got stuck) Also I prefer a buggy game that gets updated 8 times in the first year and gets fixed to a less-buggy game that is never updated ever again

I like it except when something I choose turns out to be a stupid choice. In Moscow, one of the conversation choices cuts you off from even attempting to rescue your ally and your ally dies, guaranteed. The other two let you choose whether to attempt the rescue by choosing the door, I think. I know one does.

Now I want to play MW2 with that bizarre RO aiming scheme. Back in the early days of RO when it was a mod, I was really good at not even needing to use ironsights. Too bad I suck at remotely realistic shooters overall.
