On the other hand, RTS games always give me the shits since people who spend more time playing it just know what to build to get the most efficiency. World in Conflict is pretty good though since everyone is on an equal footing in that regard. RTS games always annoys me when having the wrong units basically results in a complete massacre of your army.

Well, I don't play a lot and I'm really bad at RTSes for the reasons you listed.

RE: Space Marines,
I really hope that its one of the already established melee-oriented Chapters. Playing a Blood Angel including missions as an Assault Marine would make my life worth living. They could even implement a berserk mode with the Black Rage.

They could do multiple Chapters with different focuses for different missions. A la Ultramarines for generic run and gun. Raven Guard for flighty, stealthy missions and Black Templars or Blood Angels for melee.

I think you're all being a tad dense.

Maybe this isn't about being melodramatic and hamfisty about making you hate the bad guys. Maybe the bad guy is a double agent (oh say for the CIA maybe)and what you have there is a moral decision, which while i cannot guess about its execution, is an interesting choice.

Ghost is voiced by Craig Fairbrass, who voiced Gaz in the first Modern Warfare. In this one, his character is called Ghost and you don't see much of him facially-wise (which makes sense, since I think Infinity Ward was trying to trick you for a little bit into thinking Gaz somehow miraculously survived that headshot). So my joke is that his next character's going to be even more of an apparition.

I'm a tad bit tired

The rumor mill has it that Ghost MIGHT BE ALIVE!!!!1! IW really should've kept him for the character recognition.

Pitch posted:

Did I miss like 90% of Ghost's appearances or something? Dude has no characterization to speak of. The only thing you know about him is that he probably attached jumper cables to a guy's balls. Why did people develop such a connection with him?

His balaclava is pretty much it but IW is doing a comic miniseries and a spinoff game devoted to his exploits so again the rumor mill cannot completely accept his death It isn't about characterization, video games rarely are, but character recognition which the CoD games lacked up to this point. Badass with skull mask beats out random dude with a helmet 1-6789 any day of the week in the consumer's mind. To that end, IW have created someone they could've used as a recurring character now that apparently all the new CoD games from them are going to be Modern Warfare sequels. Plus Ghost has the best banter.

After the most recent Windows Update, my laptop decided to not boot. It posts fine and I can get into and all that jazz. When I boot from CD, it'll boot fine up to a point and then just display a blank black screen and the cursor. I know a little about computers but this is going past my level of experience and knowledge. Any ideas?

Mk18s, FALs, non-Magnum AW rifles (CS ) would be awesome rifles. This is my only really esoteric request but I really love Stevens 520 trench guns. One of those'd be awesome.
