Question for people who have done HI raid... How far could I solo the waves as a 220 shade? Any chance of getting 4th champion down alone? I was planning to get that medusa brain for my engy but I haven't done HI before so dunno how hard it is.

You can probably make it there, but it will be tough if you try to stay past that.

That was the exact problem I had at around that range. Just keep leveling hard. Make sure you're always full def and try your hardest to not pull aggro. Once you start getting SK, your evades will go crazy high. Unperked mine are around 2150-2200 on my 220 MA, which is honestly kinda low for these days. I still get hit, but a LOT less. Evades won't prevent you from getting hit, you will just get hit less often. This shot is about a year ago at 218 on my Solitus MA:

Are your OFAB sleeves the Penultimate (upgraded)? You might not feel like doing an implant overhaul, but I started to use high QL implants in some slots instead of symbs around that level. Left wrist and Feet are what come to mind, but it's your call. Blitz some shiny clusters and step in some kick rear end imps. How are you with Tier armor? Aruls? Also, keep shopping chan open you can catch a good QL AI eye implant from time to time. Research going well? There's those attunement devices too, and alien beacons, that add all def and evades. Almost forgot: get your 1k board too!

I'm farming the PBs for the Inf key now, but I think I found your problem: you're clan :p No really, it seems (outside of implants, a necessary timesink really) you've got everything that you're supposed to as a Fixer. I'd try and time your Dance of Fools and Limber so that they overlap (one at a time) but apart from that and research, don't know what else to recommend. It gets a bit worse on damage once you pick up a Hawk. Even though I've been prone to PvP just by swapping around some rings and such, on large raids I'm real good on damage and in missions, getting Enforcers asking "can you stop hogging the agg please". You really do start putting out numbers like a light soldier by your mid 200's. All I guess that would be left is your implants/symbs. Some of the more expensive ones I've found have next to nobody ever camping the named mobs for the PB boss.

I'm gonna run IS on Sunday for my alts MoR. If anyone wants to tag along for some IS item then drop Mubot a tell in game. Gonna go in there around 7-8ish AM GMT, late evening for US. At that time there's probably no froobs and other poo poo training around. No Hezak though. If memory serves, I don't think it ended well at all when I last tried to solo him. You'd miss out on quite a bit as a free player, but you'd also have quite a bit available to you, and with all the new stuff they've added in the last year you can still be a pretty capable character without any expansions. For spare time dickery this is a good game since most of the content is available in half-hour to hour long chunks (at most), even at the high levels (with a couple exceptions). You should give it a shot! Also I'd be happy to throw you some credits in game to help you get started and to make it so you don't have to spend all your time hunting for cheap items to sell to afford anything at low levels.

Really the only things you miss out on by not upgrading from the start are 2 AI levels from noob island (though if you get AI and do a single raid or LE mission, you'll probably get 4-5), and an easier time of twinking. Other than that, there's no real reason to until you're good and ready, so I'd totally recommend just doing a froob if you're new to the game. That said, $5 a month for SL is a fantastic deal.

Interesting week, got to 219 and stalled out on teams. No hope for getting any of the DB poo poo done, and only a miracle did I get the 1k board upgrade quest done. Same with the Xan poo poo, I think that I'm just going to call it quits after this month is up. Meh, it's a fun game, but when you miss poo poo, there's nothing you can do about it.
