The only thing I would keep in mind for printing besides the harped upon "you don't know how your colors will look with a calibrated monitor and printer profiles" is that shadow areas tend to look quite a bit darker on a print than on your monitor. Try printing some 4x6 prints before you print big to just get an idea of what it will look like on paper. I agree with this, and I also think you should do what you originally mentioned, rotating it just a little. Otherwise I think this is spot on.
