I lived in southern Spain for a few months and one night I went out to this amazing club. They had live bands playing on stage but the real crux of the experience for me was the drum band that would descend into the crowd whenever they were swapping stuff on stage. Theres just something intensely... tribal about jumping the gently caress around to nothing but a whole load of amazing drums and Im looking to recreate the experience as best I can but I dont know where to start. Ive tried various search terms with google and youtube but nothing yet. Someone must know what Im talking about.
