What's the best way to run Master Quest on a Wii? I know it's a GC game, but the GC version was just an emulator on a disk, so would running it from an N64 emulator work just as well?

The GameCube version benefits from the higher resolution I believe. It doesn't need to be emulated though, you can run them via Dios Mios and a USB stick. There's Gamecube hardware in your Wii that you should use, is what I'm trying to say.

Any help/advice on how to do anything would be greatly appreciated, as well.

He'd be better off going that other route that involves neogammas and dvd-rs (assuming the wii is old enough) e: Okay I'm reading the compatibility list wrong. It works but you have to use a gamecube memory card and a disc has to be in the drive. havenwaters fucked around with this message at May 3, 2013 around 05:59 |

Ignore my advice, though if you're into GCN stuff, Dios Mios is still pretty great. https://code.google.com/p/diosmios/

We haven't tried simply using an N64 emulator yet, mostly because neither me or the person whose Wii I'm using has had any good luck with MQ roms.

Also I was reading the compatibility list wrong. It looks like Dios Mios will will work for Ocarina of Time: Master Quest so long as you have a gamecube memory card and put a disc in the wii's drive. I'm not sure if a random wii game is enough or if you have to put in a gamecube game.

You may be better off either getting ocarina of time on a 3ds (this requires a 3ds obviously) or if you google really hard I believe someone injected Master Quest into an Ocarina of Time VC wad which overwrites Ocarina of Time if you bought that on the wii virtual console. Of course now you've entered actively searching for havenwaters fucked around with this message at May 3, 2013 around 14:41 |

That's the exact problem with my Wii, and why I use diosmios and a USB loader now but isos like the multi zelda game ones don't work at all on my Wii. You should probably still try, but I don't think it will work.
