Guys, guys. Can't you see the truth in front of your own eyes? Fifty years ago, a plot was put into motion to infiltrate the highest office of this nation and destroy our government from within. The man who would achieve this, it was decided, would have to blend in perfectly with normal American citizens, so that he might be elected President and subsequently dissolve the Constitution. His name would be... Barack Hussein Obama.

I'm 25 and the SNES came out when I was 5. That's 20 years ago. The SNES is contemporary with Hypercolor shirts and MC Hammer pants. I don't see a problem with anyone calling it retro.

The SNES came out in the United States before I was alive.

***REDUCED***Enfield MKIII “Sawed-Off” 410. Stock # MSS104008. Serial # 57xxx . This unique .410 began it’s life as a British #1 MK III Enfield rifle (in .303 caliber). Many of these guns saw heavy service in 2 World Wars and other British Colonial use, and had shot-out bores, and were converted to 2" .410 gauge for use as police shotguns. This example has been further “modified” by being cut down to a street legal 30” (overall length) and a 19” barrel. This shotgun would be ideal for personal defense.

Previously I complained that it wasn't available for Kindle users in Europe.

It sort of is.. if you make up a US address and "move" your kindle to that address.

I believe the traditional address to give here is 1060 West Addison, Chicago.

Edit: I wonder how many things have been registered to there over the last thirty years.

I can't be the only one who finds that kind of swirly, flowery engraving unattractive, right? It's too 'busy' for me, visually.

Grips appear to be fossilized walrus penis.

Actually, if someone was selling grips made from Oosik then that would actually be pretty rad.

Gold lettering on the slide aside, I really like this. A lot.

That's actually the only 1911 with that kind of engraving that I've liked the looks of. Without the gold lettering it would actually look pretty nice--to my eyes, most guns with that kind of work have too much of it. This is just enough.

edit: I'm laughing at his buy now price. He must think he has a brick of gold or something.

Well, he'd take a brick of gold in payment.

Reminds me of the guy a friend of mine bought an 80% AR-10 lower from: he only accepts payment in the form of cash or gold ingots.

Well, when it blew up in his hand and he started screeching like a stuck animal, the intruder would most likely hoof it out of there real quick. So it's not a totally stupid plan.

P.S. Since it's broken, I will gladly relieve him of it.

I think the idea is, someone breaks into his house, he shoots them with a different gun, then plants the Bulldog on the intruder if it turns out his home invader came unarmed.

From what I understand there was a good period of time--could still be going, for all I know--when that whole area was Lesbian Mecca. An Anthro major at my school (Reed) was telling me about going out into the woods around there to visit the lesbian communes, communities of women who decided in the sixties and seventies that rather than take up the gay-rights cause and try to get accepted into mainstream society they would just make their own society for themselves. They grow their own food, repair all their own equipment, and sell crops and craftwork down in the towns for extra money.

I got a good grounding in the Holocaust in my 6th and 7th-grade honors English classes, since my town at the time was about 20% Jewish and the teachers were this pair of Jewish women who spent a month each year on it. We read a bunch of books on it, had camp survivors come in, the whole deal. I ended up much better informed than most high school students when we were done.

In my actual high school US History class most of our time was spent on the 1800s--we did a bit of WWI, Depression, WWII, and kind of stopped there. WWII was a day, total, reduced to a map of Europe with arrows labeled with years to show advances.

I, uh, what?

For real, though, I wish I had the cash for this right now.

EDIT: And now I notice that reserve price. Yeah, even if I had it I sure as hell wouldn't be dropping $1200 on tht when I could make my own.
