She's annoying as poo poo, but she definitely grew on me. By season 3 I really started to like her. I had a handful of inane reasons to want to drop the show within the first few episodes, but stuck it out and it really paid off. I'm a bit apprehensive about recommending Deadwood to anyone that isn't patient or really into the Shakespearean-style of the show (my friend laughed at me when I mentioned that but I stand by it 100%  ).
