For me the line about Hogan having great enough cardio and wrestling ability to be an elite heavyweight was the best line.

Did Angle ever consider MMA? He obviously had the amateur wrestling background, and he seems like the sort of guy who wants to prove he's a legit badass,.

When he was first in TNA, he and Dana White had talks about him coming to UFC. I believe talks broke down because Angle wanted to do both.

I believe the story is that Kurt keeps insisting that Dana is interested in him and has this obsessive need for validation from UFC but Dana has repeatedly insisted that he does not want Kurt Angle and has never talked to him about a contract

Angle turned it down to do TNA. In 2009 Dana approached Angle about joining the TUF Heavyweights cast and Kurt turned that down. Angle has completely inflated his claims about Dana's interest and offers to him to the point where it sounds like he is making everything up.

I feel bad for Angle. He wants to be so much more important than he is, but he never will be, and he'll never accept that fact.

I read Kurt's book, from his WWE run. It was interesting, reading how he felt going from Olympic Gold Medalist who everyone loves to pretty quickly losing the spotlight.

Roy Nelson was awful in TUF. All he did was lay on top of people and win, he wasn't very powerful, his stamina was low. He just literally sat on people until the ref called the match.

It is however not shocking that someone would declare a guy who beat all of his opponents with ease and embarrassed them looked "awful."

Didn't Roy Nelson have more experience than anyone else in his season of TUF? I remember Meltzer saying that he was basically a ringer to win the season.
