Posted this in the climbing thread and what the hell, I'll post it here to. You would not believe how difficult it is to find really similar poses in climbing. Visually I don't I've changed much in the last couple years, and I have very few posed photos, and none with similar lighting so I can't really tell. But since my weight has been really stable (maxing out at around 125lbs) it can't be that much. But I've been getting stronger and climbing harder things, so I'm not worried about it.

thechalkoutline posted:nah the trick is to eat the pizza but afterward do burpees until you throw up Haha. I probably will. It doesn't really matter, you just have a body-type that I've always envied. It's very rock-star. I'm probably just as lean as you, but shaped more like kaptain.kayak (not as ripped yet, though). Which is fine. Wolverine is pretty awesome.

Nucka: that's loving awesome. I used to look a lot like you (~300 at the end of high school/start of college). I lost about 70 pounds in a couple years watching what I ate and doing some cardio after the first 20 pounds or so but I didn't do any lifting so I became skinny fat. Want to start lifting and do what you did.

Not too much of a transformation, but I really need some feedback and (hopefully) positive support. I'm trying to get a bit bigger and do a clean-ish bulk without gaining unnecessary amounts of fat. I don't want a part deux to my dirty college football bulk. No thank you. I think the the time differential from before to now is 6 months (later October to April), and the weight is + 4 or 5 kgs. I'm happy at the moment but want a bit more muscle. Please, goons, tell me to HTFU and eat more and accept the fat that I can cut later. Before ![]() Now ![]() P.S. I don't know what the gently caress I'm doing with posing nor do I have a good place for a decent angle, so judge accordingly. And yes, I am very white Ninja Edit: Hope the dramatic lighting isn't too crazy. And that Photobucket is an okay host. I haven't hosted a picture on the forums in ages.

Nucka posted:Good job on losing it. You've already done tons more than most people ever will. Lifting is very addicting. I love it, so will you. I build muscle a lot faster with lifting than I lose weight via cardio (apples to oranges, I know, just saying), and lifting is in general a lot easier for me. So I'm hoping it'll be easy to love, especially if I can get this garage gym going and just walk outside to my gym.

I lost my first 85ish pounds in my basement, it was nice just walking downstairs to work out. After that I got a gym membership though.
