Ta gueule, laisse-moi finir.

I just started reading The Beach by Alex Garland.

I caught some of the movie and thought it looked interesting, but I figured I'd much rather read the book. So far I really like it, and I'm amazed at how easy it is to read fast - I've read more than a hundred pages in two hours, which is not my normal reading pace.

Probably going to start with And Then There Were None

Definitely a good choice. It is in my opinion one of her best books, as well as one of my favorite books of all time. It's deliciously written and, of course, very clever.

The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier and Clay by Michael Chabon

I'm about a 100 pages in and it feels like it was tailored precisely to my preferences. It's criminally early to say this, but it's shaping up to be my favorite book ever.

Heading out to get Imperial Bedrooms by Bret Easton Ellis tomorrow. I'm sort of stupidly excited, as I love Less Than Zero.
