yes, this wrapped 1' hemisphere of dirt will be enough for this tree to grow big and strong. gravel will make it work harder, thus improving its strength. its like weight training for roots.

you know how when you pull the tree out its bucket and it has some soil with it? its not just a tree and some roots going into gravel is what im saying. its a spruce alpine (with some other word in it) im just saying i have more faith in the roots than everyone else
