Following a suggestion in the 'pictures that make you laugh every time,' I thought I'd open a new thread for cat pictures, because yay, cat pictures! If you don't like it, just let it die a natural death. Anyway, guidelines: 1. There should be a cat of some sort in your pictures. It can be your cat or someone else's cat. It can be a kitten. It can be a big cat or a wildcat. There can be other kinds of animal in the picture. It can be cute, funny, weird, a combination of the above. I would rather it was not gross. 2. Although it should be common sense: please read the whole thing before contributing, to avoid duplication within the thread. Cross-posting from other threads is okay. Well-known cat pictures are also okay, because it's 'post your favourite,' not 'post something the rest of us haven't seen before.' 3. If your picture is a macro/LOLcat, please make a good faith effort to find the uncaptioned source image and post that. If you can't do that, try to crop it to remove the caption (this is not hard and can be done in MS Paint). Sometimes I like LOLcats, if the caption really adds value, but for heaven's sake don't post anything in motivational poster format, those things are awful. To kick off!      Okay! Have fun. Oh man, great thread. I don't own a cat at the moment, situation does not allow for it.  That said, I often run into this big guy in my street and I'll sit for a while on the sidewalk, petting him under the bright sun. He comes whenever I call him now.
