This happened to me constantly on Win7RTM. Explorer would give no indication to say whether a file operation was successful or failed or wasn't possible. Hitting F5 usually showed the file but about 5% of the time i needed 2 or more refreshes to see anything. Drag & drops and other menial day to day tasks are annoying under these conditions.

Reminds me of Vista Pre-SP1 where simple file operations took months to finish...
