Remember when they gave the Highlanders what felt like months of vignettes building them up and did nothing with them? That was really weird, was that their plan all along?

I wish they'd give him a gimmick besides "bland guy"

Wouldn't Sin Culo be someone afflicted with that no-rear end condition that Hank had on King of the Hill? BECAUSE THAT WOULD BE AMAZING

If there was a list of all of the things WWE has screwed up after a promising start since WCW died it would probably be really, really long and amazing.

It's scary how long that list would be overall. With almost every single guy on the roster you can come up with two or more times they've had something going (or at least started) and completely hosed it up. Making money in spite of himself indeed.

If they hadn't had the locker room clear out and run Nexus off, we would've had people complaining about how stupid it was that nobody else came out. It made sense to have this happen and then have Nexus be quicker and more selective in their attacks going forward.

It made sense to have this happen and then have Nexus be quicker and more selective in their attacks going forward. Agreed. The issue wasn't who they ran them out but that they were run out. It made sense when SD united immediately to ensure that Nexus didn't have a chance to take over their show because they saw what selfish individualism did to Raw. But Raw was proven to be broken up in cliques with guys only caring about themselves and so many of them caring more about stabbing a guy in the back than saving him. Nexus had power because they exposed that on Raw. They had strength in numbers because nobody was willing to co-exist. The same thing happened in WCW with the nWo. There was over 100 people on the WCW roster and the nWo at its biggest was less than 20 but you couldn't rely on Ric Flair to not stab Sting in the back.

I read the Impact spoilers and realized this is the second time I somehow completely missed Steiner turning heel in TNA. Seriously when did it happen

To me, Steiner is always a heel. Just sometimes he is a heel to other heels which makes him more babyface-ish than usual.

He turned heel on Matt Morgan awhile back for the usual Steiner reasons. "You think you're hot poo poo, I'm the Big Poppa Pump." Then last week he faced Bubba in BFG match and Bubba cheated to win, Steiner went after him backstage and Bubba offered him a spot in Immortal to save his rear end. Steiner accepted it this week to go double heel, I guess.

I kinda look at him like an early Stone Cold, or maybe an old-school Jake Roberts - there's really no clear good or bad boundary, he just kind of does what he wants, regardless of reaction. I wonder if he uses his Steinermath to figure out the probability of getting boos compared to cheers in order to sway him towards being good or bad based on the person he's feuding with and the town TNA has their show in.
