I'd consider Laurel and Hardy to be something superior so if it elevates the product I'd consider it. It might not help Cesaro but hopefully he'd surprise everyone.

This is what they did with Kozlov before booting him out too so. Also Cesaro and Swaggers gimmicks are nowhere near the same.

While they're certainly not identical I don't think it's a coincidence that Cesaro lost his "Love America, hate lazy freeloading Americans" schtick right around the same time Swagger came back with Zeb Coulter with their xenophobic anti immigration spiel. Both are Tea Party-ish talking points and I could've seen them not wanting two different heels with patriotic right wing type gimmicks.

They were both I love America (but I'm really evil) gimmicks, and once Swagger showed up, Cesaro's gimmick was immediately dropped. The specifics were different, but they were similar enough that WWE decided they didn't want two guys with that gimmick at the same time.

The yodeling gimmick is godawful though.

Maybe it shows how much I haven't been paying attention but I had no clue that Orton and Big Show were feuding. Or I guess still feuding.

Its because the feuds been completely one sided basically with Big Show doing nothing to actually piss off Orton. Dude hasn't even interfered in his matches or anything, which would help actually loving build the match.

I just don't understand what they're doing with Lesnar. The story is dead no matter who won the match. They don't want to derail him, but what does beating HHH get him? Is he going after Cena (again?) or is he going to get mired in a year long feud with Sheamus or something?

Bottocks. Neither one thing nor the other.

I have no idea what they're doing with Lesnar either, apart from paying him a truckload of money to try and shore up that plucky underdog John Cena's win-loss record, and then paying him another truckload of money to let HHH work through his midlife crisis issues. Beyond that nothing else makes the remotest bit of sense.

One guy gets stretchered out, the other leaves under his own power but is still declared the loser (via stalemate). Who's the face in this situation again?

The guy that was injured by the vicious attack that caused him to leave the arena in a stretcher. Like always.
