sza/Ron, did your Mountain Guns have wood or rubber grips? The first stuff I put through my Redhawk was some very light Magtech Cowboy Action .44spl... I knew the recoil would be less than .44mag, but it was like the difference between .22lr & .40S&W.

What secures it to the belt? I was thinking about getting one for my Redhawk, but if it just dangles there, no way.

True, it just struck me as a bit halfassed. Though I suppose it makes it easier to accommodate different sizes of belts, and probably makes it easier to conceal. Hmm To do: - Gain 200lbs - CCW Redhawk

The LCR's trigger isn't especially bad, but I don't find it especially good, either. Also reposting 'cause this Ruger is the BestŠ Ruger. ![]() The trigger is so nice, I pull it, bullets disappear, it's science, physics is involved, something crazy, it's like magic or something.

Huh - my response was a mix of genuine curiosity & a bit a facetiousness, I really don't know anything about the internals of the 1873 design. Marlin has leverguns (albeit modern designs) in .44mag, .45-70, .444, etc - is it terribly different than those? Also, wheelgun thread re-rail:
