This is Argus!

Our friends in New Orleans rescued him and my wife and I adopted him. He was just shy of 3 months old at the time, malnourished and needing a lot of help. They got him started with vaccinations, a nourishing diet, and a loving foster home. We adopted him about three weeks ago and have gotten him his second round of shots and vaccinations. In six weeks, he'll have had his third round and will be able to be around other dogs. In the three weeks we've been taking care of him, he's grown from 13 pounds to 22 pounds. I can't stress enough how much we love this little (soon to be quite big) guy!

Don't let that furrowed brow fool you; he's a super sweet and loving dude.

So we took Argus in to get neutered today. We're picking him up in the morning and hopefully I'll get out of work early enough to spend most of the day with him, the poor dude. In the meantime, I keep looking at this shot I snapped of him last week to make me feel better about putting him through this (yes, I know it's for the best and he'll live a longer, better life and all that, but I still feel terrible that he has to go through it).

That is definitely a feline overlord looking to conquer the stars, mark my words.
