I think it's literally impossible to pay tribute to certain artists just on the span of their careers alone. It was fun, I expected more but it was kinda rushed so whatever. I loved the beginning.

As a big Gaga fan and a big Bowie fan I thought she did an acceptable job. I wish they had done longer bits with fewer songs though.

It was the worst Bond song ever. Even the Madonna one, while a lovely Bond theme, was at least a listenable song. Sam Smith sounds like he's making fun of singing on that track. gently caress that poo poo.

Gaga was the only one to get a standing ovation and people literally crying so it was pretty surprising. They also got Biden to introduce her. I don't LOVE the song but I think it was the best out of the nominees. I feel bad for Diane Warren  8 nominations and no Oscar yet.

Actually I thought Simple Song #3 was the best of the nominees, but that was way to classical to stand any real chance, so I hoped it would be Gaga. Writing On The Wall was the worst of the bunch, and I literally rolled my eyes when I read of its win this morning.

Everything seemed muddied together slightly. It lacked the crisp professionalism in the sounds that her earlier albums had, if that makes any sense. That being said, I still think its pretty good. It's Gaga experimenting and I can dig that. Can't hardly wait to see whats coming too.

I think it's a grower, I hated poker face at first, and I didn't LOVE bad romance until I saw the video. Gonna give it a few days. I think the sound was pretty unexpected and people are puzzled but overall it's catchy. (But it's a bummer about her relationship. I thought it was working out)

It's alright, definitely a grower. I like that she's going for more of a rock sound and I'm still curious about the album, but honestly, given the talent behind the song I was expecting something a little better. The mixing feels off, like her vocals and the instrumentation don't mesh right. I'm not sure how to describe it.
