It’s a major and costly operation that can stick American taxpayers with a huge tab. The U.S. Government keeps a database of reports called The Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS). The database is available to the public, and there is a search portal the public can use at Medalerts.org.

Searching for a ten year period for deaths reported with measles vaccines, including a few that are no longer in production, resulted in a list of 108 deaths over this period, associated with four different measles vaccines sold in the United States during the past 10 years.

This database reflects only deaths that were reported during the time frame, and therefore probably reflects a much lower number than actual deaths, since most doctors and health authorities believe vaccines are safe, and would not normally attribute a death to a vaccine and actually report it.

According to Operation Rescue, 22-year-old Lakisha Wilson (pictured), a Black female, died after her abortion at the Preterm facility in March of 2014.

Guys that work retail work way harder than I do now and they get paid less than half. What a lovely world

I find it thoroughly baffling how few people realize just how much work goes into making holidays work and that there are people that don't get to have holidays because of it. For the restaurant world Mother's Day was probably the worst. Every restaurant ever just gets absolutely hammered all day, every day ever year. The prep work that goes into it is absolutely massive, everybody works long hours, and the hours are grueling. Stupid poo poo I saw included a mother being forced to stay 7 hours beyond her printed shift and missing a dinner her family was planning. Which would include getting to see one of her children that lived far away and rarely got to visit. You'd pull absurdly long hours, often 14+. My longest shift (which was still a store record last I heard) was 21 hours.

It also truly baffled me how many times we got calls bitching about how we were closed on Thanksgiving and Christmas. As if none of us had families or holidays. American culture truly treats unskilled labor like filth that deserves no joy.

Of course, it's virtually impossible to prove that you've been denied service because of bigotry unless the bakery outright says it; if they just said "sorry, we're fully booked," there would've been almost no way to prove that it was homophobic. Of course, Klein's the kind of moron who not only blatantly denies service out of homophobia, but also outright doxxed the couple in question, so there we are.
