1/45 at 27mm might have been too slow. When i pop the image in a new tab, things just feel like camera shake. Throw the XE1 into Auto ISO capped at 1600. ISO 400/640 would have pushed your speed much higher. Removing softness that I see.

Im just speculating this cuz again, i feel the image is a bit OOF.

As per the thread title, I'll follow this advice. Thanks!

But do you think that photo being slightly sharper would fix it?

It certainly couldn't hurt.

Something about that photo, be it the perspective or the focus, makes my eyes hurt pretty badly.

I could go through a whole series of these.

I agree, somewhat, on that it makes looking at it uncomfortable, but I don't think it is because of the focus, but rather the pattern of the floor.

Woah that's more contrasty and saturated from what I expected of Portra 160.

The first one is about a stop and the second one is about two stops underexposed, so there you go.

That was actually the only picture on the roll that got messed up for some reason, but I loved the effect anyways.

They say, "you mean it's just sounds?" thinking that for something to just be a sound is to be useless, whereas I love sounds just as they are, and I have no need for them to be anything more than what they are.

Cropping it won't change the tree coming out of his shoulder and the messy overlaps with the lady behind the dog and the other junk in the background. It could have been an interesting subject but it is just too cluttered.

This is rad. I personally would crop it in a slight touch, the light on the left is just a little distracting.
