My name's dregan, and I'm the Biggest Idiot Ever!

Link playing rocket tennis with a Cyberdemon? Snake CQC'ing with Tyson? Could be! It's a simple premise, switch out videogame bosses with ones from other games. Two I made to start off:

The little-known seventh exit from Star Road leads to some strange places:

The end boss of Doom 2 is the head of John Romero, it was a massive in-joke during development that the other guys put in when they felt Romero was pushing them too hard. The head there is John Carmack, the other guy what made the game. The funny thing is that Carmack kinda went , accusing people of being lazy because he put in 16 hour days and was at his computer so long his right hand physically merged with his mouse, ended up driving a wedge through the company.
I always liked Romero as he held up the creative side of id software, and when Carmack went and displaced/fired him after Quake the company blah blah sperg sperg etc.

tl;dr - I sort of kinda don't like Carmack.

Funny, I'm the exact opposite way. I like Carmack way more than Romero, since Carmack essentially made PC gaming what it is today due to his pioneering of now commonly-used programming techniques as well as coding the Wolfenstein 3D, Doom, and Quake engines nearly singlehandedly (then taking a break from id to teach himself aerospace engineering and start his own aerospace company). In contrast, Romero made some levels (and level editors) for id's early games, then went on to create a series of varyingly lovely games (except Hyperspace Delivery Boy which was pretty good) and marry a mail-order Romanian bride.

Yeah, I'm definitely on the Carmack side of the John-guement, because I feel like Romero is a bit of a lazy douche with some nice hair.

Dead ghosts reincarnated as Cyberdemons? Now that's a game.
RE the Carmack/Romero derail, I just went through the stuff Romero's done since 1996 and the stuff Carmack's done since 1996. Carmack wins by fatality. Compare Daikatana with, what, Quake II? And Deus Ex plus Anachronox versus the Quakes, Doom 3 potentially Rage and so on, I may have been converted tonight.

Bah. The Penny Arcade with Romero at the hot dog stand springs to mind.
