I'm switching from an epson cx6600 ink scam to a laser printer. I'm looking at a Samsung ML-2510 and a Brother HL-2170w, but I'd also like to be able to scan without keeping my crappy epson around. Since both these printers have a copy function, they have the hardware to scan, right? If so, can they output that scan to the computer instead of just copying? Would it do color? I don't see why it would on a black and white printer, but that would be great. Any input on which is a better buy? The Brother is wireless which is a plus but the Samsung is cheaper. Also, would buying off craigslist be that much of a risk (possible bad drums/toner) or does it matter much with laser printers?
