Greg Evans is the Anti-Brooke. Whereas Brooke happily spends two straight months saying HAY LOOK THESE TWO ARE A COUPLE AND loving... LOOK THEY ARE loving AGAIN, DID I MENTION THEY gently caress? Evans' characters spend forever in stupid "will they/won't they" quantum states that are no less irritating, even though they lack the slime coating excreted by 9CL and Pigporn.

I think it's a regional thing -- I've only heard "Anymore" used to begin a sentence or a clause like that in central [hillbilly area] Pennsylvania. They'd use it two ways:

"Anymore, I don't like his paintings," meaning they didn't like the paintings at all, and...

"Anymore, I think I'm going to shop there," meaning they would very much like to shop there from now on.

It was the most confusing thing ever and I am so glad I never picked up on that habit.

That said, where the hell is Brooke from?

I've noticed this a bit on the forums too. For some reason, "anymore" only looks correct to me when it's on the end of a negative sentence.

Wasn't there some story about how early WW2 USO performers actually did sleep with some soldiers? I should check Snopes. Old Hollywood was just as skanky as Hollywood is today, they just kept it better under wraps because them bitches was classy.

Anyway, Brooke needs to pull his head out of his rear end because the USO still sends ostensibly sexy lady performers overseas.

I think the problem here is that Brooke is confusing "politically incorrect" and "inappropriate".

For instance, it's not politically incorrect to not tell someone you used to be a singer who took pride in giving soldiers boners. You're free to say that whenever you want. It's just inappropriate to say this to your daughter, though, since a real person doesn't want to hear her mother talking about how much she turned soldiers on.

Just because you have the freedom to say whatever you want doesn't mean you should; a lesson Brooke needs to take to heart.
