I think it's a regional thing -- I've only heard "Anymore" used to begin a sentence or a clause like that in central [hillbilly area] Pennsylvania. They'd use it two ways: "Anymore, I don't like his paintings," meaning they didn't like the paintings at all, and... "Anymore, I think I'm going to shop there," meaning they would very much like to shop there from now on. It was the most confusing thing ever and I am so glad I never picked up on that habit. That said, where the hell is Brooke from?

Honestly, with all the comic strips that we all like considered, how many times a month do you actually read the funny pages and have a good, audible, guffawing kind of laugh? Maybe I'm a humorless fuckbag, but it doesn't really happen that often. That said, I've described the Fingerpori with Batman being called "Shitpants" to about five friends now, and I start laughing every time. I'm laughing right now.

I understand that the artist wants to experiment with borders and stuff, but he doesn't know how to make it look fluid and coherent. First panel Hilary is surrounded by Sallys. For instance, it's not politically incorrect to not tell someone you used to be a singer who took pride in giving soldiers boners. You're free to say that whenever you want. It's just inappropriate to say this to your daughter, though, since a real person doesn't want to hear her mother talking about how much she turned soldiers on. Just because you have the freedom to say whatever you want doesn't mean you should; a lesson Brooke needs to take to heart.
