It's kind of interesting that there's this disconnect between death as seen in the heaven/hell arcs and real death in Achewood. Like they both coexist as separate concepts.

Was there 'real' death in Achewood, apart from old people occasionally dying for plot purposes?

Put on crooked and printed badly. But what makes it for me is the fact that, if I'm remembering my stuff correctly, whoever wants to listen to that first has to rewind it all the way.

The cavalier treatment of death and rebirth in Achewood kind of bothered me until I decided the whole strip is set in the Tibetan Bardo, the liminal state between life and death where souls await reincarnation.

...but I'm weird and I don't think anyone else has this problem.

I don't think we see Todd after Ray finds out about the GOF in that arc, and I like to think he got really pissed that Ray abandoned his dream phone nutsack company.

I like how Ray got involved with the company for like a day, and then completely changed its mission. He does that often, too.

As for Todd, I bet he was so furious that he almost got himself hospitalized again, and then saw the part where Ray tore a face off some guy.

So, what are some things in Achewood that never got explored, but you would like to know more? I would like to see some flashback strips with Pat, and pat's dad during their traveling act days. There is plenty of material, what with the sister we've never seen, and what happened to the mother?
