You should probably put in the OP that you need to be on the dev channel to use this, for some reason the 4.0.# beta build doesn't have the extensions yet :(

The dev build is lower than the beta? I guess this means they decided to lay off extensions for a while?

Added. Does the --enable-extensions flag work on the beta branch?

I'm pretty sure the beta branch only has bookmark sync so far.

I think you can change the OP again since Chrome now supports extensions in all branches.

Great for browsing the forums I really like it, one problem I have is that it's kinda hard to see how many new posts were made in a thread you follow, maybe put that in the line with the buttons?

Javid posted:

If possible, I'd like an option to move the number of unread posts over by the buttons like so:

This is a nice hybrid between the built-in display on the forums and the current SALR'd display, I think. I personally prefer the buttons to the gray box, but hate looking over to the right for the number of new posts.

I should really read the thread shouldn't I?

I just uploaded v0.4. The release includes:

- Inline post counts
- Option to turn off the custom (blue/orange) thread jump buttons
- Option to highlight friend's posts (submitted by Sebbe)
- Fix for the bug where a horizontal scrollbar might hide the page navigator
- Fixed the drop shadow for the page navigator

Currently it looks like Github is being stubborn about updating the actual CRX. I'm going to leave it be for the remainder of my workday, and if the auto-updater is still pulling up the old CRX file I'll look into a solution.

Also updated the OP.

Lovely! Good job too.

I like the way it is now, doesn't bother me outside of SA and on SA it's only present as a link up top.

That looks great!

e: Trying it out and I really like the way it changes quotes but the coloured OP posts isn't for me I think, would love to see the qoute boxes as an option in the next version of SALR :)

Lots of nice features in this update :) nice work guys!

It would be nice with an option to change the colour of quotes.

edit: Might want to update the OP with the new features.

The quick reply box looks great!

Uhoh! Also feels great, but maybe just a little bit too big, maybe make it like the real reply, resizeable?

You are going to move quick reply onto the jump menu instead of "REPLY" right? If not I'd like to request that :)

You mean on the page navigator? It could be done.

Yea, that, I mean it makes sense, since that's always pretty handy, and sometimes I like to use the normal reply-page.

Ad-block this if you have to go there (I can't see why you would):

(I actually went to YOSPOS to try and figure out what this was about, they don't know)

I really like the reworked settings page, really nice job.

Somehow SALR Chrome has become nicer than SALR FF, now I can't really use Firefox for browsing SA, I guess that's fine since that means I do more work.

Also don't know if this is troubleshooting or whatever, but thread highlighting doesn't seem to work in the user CP.

Try going into your control panel and find out if you have the default forum highlighting turned on, I had that problem but figured it out.

Your thread tracking should look somewhat like this:

edit2: and then I read the thread, bravo me, bravo.
