It's good, but where's the dialogue? Hardly anyone spoke a word to each other except when interacting (healing, reviving, friendly fire).

Also the new sniper rifle is pretty fun

Generally, yes. The whole point of the tank is that it takes concentrated fire from all teammates to take it down. If the whole team has auto shotguns then you can kill it with 10 rounds from each on normal (and probably verses). If the team splits up and nobody gets stuck while running backwards, a tank isn't much of a problem. The problem is that while people are focussing on the tank, Mr. Smoker can touch you inappropriately and a nearby hunter can give you a "free hug".

gently caress! The one night I'm called into work 420 is back online AND skoolmunkee is around as well.

Also if anyone just wants the 20 car pile up achievement, play verses split screen (2nd controller is survivors) and park your character by the car when the tank spawns. If you're clever you can in theory get 12 out of 20 hits in one match.

You can get this in one playthrough on the finale if you're against 4 willing humans who all heal when they're black and white (you get 2+2+3 knockdowns per person if each person has two health packs available, which they do, one player stays out of the way the whole time, giving you 21 hits with a car).

You can of course get more if the player who stayed out of the way lets you hit him, meaning that there's a total of 28 hits available on the finale. Plenty! You can get the achievement and then get Truck Stop in the same playthough if you're careful.

What a terrible excuse for not playing with us!

It took MS 10 days to get my 360 back to me. Which means you're not gonna be playing L4D2 when it comes out!

I recommend buying a new 360 now to ensure you get to play L4D2 on the release.

I like things like this - it means they can put in insanely unrealistic achievements for hardcore players while still making it possible for regular players to get all the achievements. I just wish these avatar awards were more difficult to get (e.g. "kill 100,000 zombies", "kill 10,000 zombies with the electric guitar", "win 1000 verses matches", "complete a campaign on expert mode with realism enabled and taking no damage using only a frying pan").

So are the infected spawns exactly 20 seconds apart now or does the timer start after a minute and a half of "you are dead....."? Also, do the spawn patterns match the original L4D ones (where it gives you whatever special infected isn't around at the moment you respawn, or in my case a hunter every time)? How does it work with 6 playable special infected? Is there guaranteed to be at least one boomer or hunter at any one time?

The reason I ask all these questions is because I need to recalibrate my stopwatches.
