Of course, if you want to spend $100 on a mouse depends on how badly you want that mouse, and how much money you have to burn. Honestly, I'd just get a mx518. Cheaper than that and it seems high end enough to me. I've been using it for several years, and I'm not changing it anytime soon. And when I have to, I'll buy another one if possible.

If I were you, I would stay away from wireless mouses. Batteries are a pain and avoiding problems with the signal and input lag sounds like a good idea. Also, keep in mind that more money doesn't mean you are going to be happier with it. Some mouses are expensive just because they have "Fatal1ty" written on them.
